Vascular Biology & Regeneration

Decoding the endothelium in health, disease, and regeneration.

Vascular Biology & Regeneration illustration
Overview

Our scientific focus

The vascular endothelium is an active signaling interface that senses mechanical, inflammatory, metabolic, and environmental cues. We study how endothelial dysfunction and plasticity contribute to cardiovascular disease and how vascular function can be restored.

Endothelial plasticity & EndoMTIntegrated human models and mechanistic studies.
Vascular regenerationIntegrated human models and mechanistic studies.
Our Approach

From human disease to mechanism.

Our studies integrate patient-derived vascular specimens, iPSC-derived endothelial cells, functional vascular phenotyping, genome engineering, and multi-omic profiling to identify regulatory programs controlling vascular injury and repair.
